Bringing the DataBank IMX brand to life
Translating a new brand identity into cohesive digital experiences, marketing materials, and tools for company-wide adoption.
Project Overview
Role: Graphic Designer
Scope: Brand implementation, web collaboration, marketing collateral, brand education
Year: 2021
Credits: JD Reeves
Shortly after joining DataBank IMX as its first in-house designer, I stepped into the implementation of a newly developed brand identity by JD Reeves. My role was to take that visual direction and put it into practice—extending the brand across the website, marketing materials, and everyday company communications while creating resources to help the team use it consistently.
How do we take a new visual identity beyond the logo and make it part of the company's everyday experience?

The website transformation
The website was one of the most important opportunities to establish the refreshed brand. I collaborated with a local creative studio on the website rebuild, helping carry the new visual direction into the company's primary digital touchpoint. Together, we created a more cohesive online experience that reflected the updated identity.
Creating a flexible marketing toolkit
To help the team put the new identity to work, I developed reusable one-page marketing templates that could be adapted for different products, services, and sales conversations. The goal was to give employees polished, consistent materials without requiring every piece to be designed from scratch.
Extending the identity into
physical touchpoints
Beyond digital marketing, I applied the new identity to physical brand touchpoints, including event signage and branded materials. These applications helped create a more recognizable and consistent presence wherever the company interacted with customers and partners.
