A little about me
I’m Meg Oliphant, a designer currently on the Brand Creative team at Calendly. I specialize in brand identity, event branding, and marketing design—creating visual systems that balance strategic thinking with attention to craft.
I'm drawn to projects that value clarity, cohesion, and work that's built to last. Whether developing a complete brand identity or designing for a major event, my approach is the same: listen deeply, think strategically, and refine obsessively until every detail feels right.
When I'm not designing, I'm likely exploring vintage bookshops, curating my type specimen collection, or perfecting my coffee ritual.
GOOD DESIGN DOESN’T ANNOUNCE ITSELF. IT INVITES YOU CLOSER.
The best design is both strategic and intuitive—rooted in deep listening, elevated through craft, and guided by the belief that every detail shapes perception. I don't believe in one-size-fits-all solutions or chasing trends. Instead, I create visual identities that are distinctly yours, built on clarity, intention, and an obsessive attention to the choices others might overlook. My process is collaborative but considered, balancing creative exploration with rigorous thinking. The result is work that feels purposeful, looks timeless, and functions beautifully.
IN MY WORLD
-
I share my workspace with Bean and Smokey—two cats with strong opinions about design and an uncanny sense of when I need to step away from the screen.
-
Travel is my creative reset. New cities, unfamiliar architecture, different light—these shifts in perspective always find their way back into my work.
-
I have a deep appreciation for coffee—not just the drink, but the ritual. The precision, the patience, the small ceremony of making something exactly right.
